كشفت تقارير مغربية، عن وقوع جمال سلامي، المدير الفني لفريق الرجاء البيضاوي، في ورطة قبل مواجهة بيراميدز في كأس الكونفدرالية الإفريقية.

ويتواجد بيراميدز في المجموعة الرابعة ببطولة الكونفدرالية التي تضم إلى جواره أندية: “الرجاء المغربي ونامونجو التنزاني ونكانا الزامبي”.

وحدد الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “كاف” موعد مباراة بيراميدز والرجاء في الجولة الرابعة من دور المجموعات، يوم 2 من أبريل المقبل، بمركب محمد الخامس بالدارالبيضاء.

ومن الوارد أن تقام مباراة بيراميدز والرجاء خارج المغرب، بسبب تعليق الرحلات الدولية بين الرباط والقاهرة من أجل الاجراءات الاحترازية التي اتخذتها السلطات المغربية لاحتواء انتشار فيروس كورونا.

وقالت صحفية “leo 360 سبور” المغربية إن جمال سلامي، مدرب الرجاء الرياضي، في موقف لا يحسد عليه، إذ ستعرف تدريبات فريقه لمواجهة بيراميدز، في الجولة الثالثة والرابعة من دور مجموعات كأس الكونفيدرالية، غياب 10 لاعبين.

وأوضحت، أن جمال سلامي، سيفتقد خلال استعداداته للمواجهة المذكورة 10 لاعبين أساسييين، ويتعلق الأمر بكل من الحارس أنس الزنيتي، وسفيان الرحيمي، بعدما وجه لهما المدير الفني لمنتخب المغرب وحيد خليلوزيتش، الدعوة من أجل الالتحاق بمعسكر “الأسود” الذي سيخوضه خلال الفترة الممتدة من 22 إلى 30 مارس بمركز محمد السادس، استعدادا لمباراتي موريتانيا وبوروندي في التصفيات المؤهلة إلى كأس أمم إفريقيا.

وسيغيب عن تدريبات الرجاء الرياضي أيضا كل من عمر بوطيب، وعمر العرجون، ومحمد زريدة، عبد الإله الحافظي وزكرياء الوردي بعد توجيه الدعوة لهم للمشاركة رفقة المنتخب المغربي المحلي في التجمع التدريبي، الذي سينظمه المدرب الحسين عموتة خلال الفترة بين 23 و29 مارس 2021 بمركز محمد السادس بالرباط.

وسيغيب عن تدريبات الرجاء بعد الديربي مدافع الفريق سند الورفلي، الذي سيكون حاضرا رفقة منتخب بلاده ليبيا، في التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس إفريقيا للأمم المقررة بالكاميرون في يناير وفبراير المقبلين.

وتواجد اسم الورفلي في القائمة النهائية لمنتخب ليبيا، والتي ستواجه منتخبي تونس وتنزانيا في الجولة الخامسة والسادسة من التصفيات الأفريقية المذكورة.

بدوره استدعى المدرب الكونغولي كريستيان نسينغي، كل من فابريس نغوما وبين مالانغو للانضمام إلى منتخب الكونغو الديمقراطية استعدادا لملاقاة المنتخبين الغابوني والغامبي يومي 25 و29 من الشهر الجاري تواليا برسم التصفيات ذاتها.

ويتصدر بيراميدز المجموعة برصيد 6 نقاط، ويأتي الرجاء في الوصافة بـ 6 نقاط أيضا، ويتذيل نامونجو التنزاني وناكانا الزامبي المجموعة بدون أي نقاط.

Lionel Messi was injured prior to half-time, leading to manager Ernesto Valverde handing Dembele his second appearance of the season.

Dembele was injured after the curtain-raiser against Athletic Bilbao but now appears to be nearing his best following his comeback.

The best is yet to come

It’s pretty understandable that Dembele’s first appearance after a lay-off was not as outstanding as it could have been.

But the most important thing is that the Frenchman showed glimpses of the skills that he possesses.

In the 45 minutes he spent on the pitch of the Camp Nou, Dembele registered two key passes, one dribble and three crosses from a total of 42 touches.

While he may not have come off the bench to hit the back of the net, Dembele is, at the very least, back on the field of play.

Besides, if Messi is set to spend any significant amount of time on the sidelines, the Blaugrana will need the Frenchman at his best.

His first appearance since his injury will have whetted the appetite of many fans; it remains to be seen if he can build on it.

So Manchester United seem to have a new golden boy in town. Just three years after Marcus Rashford burst onto the scene, 17-year-old Mason Greenwood is beginning to step into the limelight.

The teenager shone on the club’s pre-season tour earlier this summer, and has enjoyed 227 minutes of first-team football in recent weeks for the Red Devils.

After firing home the winner against FC Astana in the Europa League, Greenwood was at it again, scoring the opening goal in United’s Carabao Cup clash against Rochdale on Wednesday night.

United fans flooded to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the starlet, delighted with his performance.

Many supporters of the Manchester side hailed the young prospect for continuing to “bail” out United following another disappointing team display.

Some fans insisted he is saving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job with his goals, whilst one supporter in particular suggested he is “100 times the player Rashford is”.

Luke Garbutt’s loan deal to Ipswich Town may have raised a few eyebrows at parent club Everton, with the decision to let him go leaving the left-back slot low in numbers and the player to run down the final 12 months of his contract.

What this move has done, however, is give the 26-year-old much-needed game time for the Everton fans, Marco Silva and potential future suitors to see what he can potentially offer them going forward. In that sense, it’s probably the most important loan stint of his career to date – especially when coupled with the fact he’s now entering his prime years as a footballer.

Garbutt joined Everton in 2009 as a 16-year-old from Leeds United’s academy and has only played 12 times for the Toffees at senior level, although he has stepped out 71 times for the U23’s and registered nine goals and five assists for them.

Throughout the years, the Englishman’s game time has been limited mainly due to the form of Leighton Baines, who made that position his own for several seasons. More recently, Lucas Digne’s emergence has forced Garbutt out for his what is now his sixth loan spell away from the club since making his debut in 2012.

Ahead of the 2013-14 season, the left-back was awarded a new two-year deal with Everton, but he was still yet to make his Premier League debut by this point.

A season later, an injury to Baines handed Garbutt an extended run in the side which saw him help Everton reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League, starting both legs of the 7-2 victory over BSC Young Boys – a time where he registered his one and only assist for the first-team and earned a new five-year contract.

But this season, Garbutt was going to face another campaign where he waited for injuries to others in order to see game time, considering Digne is coming off the back of winning Everton’s Player of the Year award.

He has faced a similar issue in trying to establish himself at Ipswich, battling D’arro O’Connor and Alan Judge for a place down the left-hand side. However, he has performed exceptionally well when given the chance by scoring three times in the four games he has started – this is just one goal short of his tally of four for Oxford United last year in League One.

As the Blues have played in a back three so far, Garbutt has been placed as more of a wing-back, which has allowed him to get rack up his goal tally and register two shots per game so far.

The Evertonian has shown throughout his four performances that he could still offer something to the Toffees’ squad. There is the obvious fact League One is substantially different from the Premier League, but considering Garbutt has registered a 7.85 performance rating so far and played a hand in first-place Ipswich’s dominance in the league, perhaps the left-back has shown he may have a future at Goodison Park after all.

After all, Digne is the only recognised left-back around the squad other than Baines, who has not seen a minute of action this season and will turn 35 in December. A new contract would certainly be cheaper than buying another left-back during summer 2020.

But bearing in mind his current form and considering he is just 26 years old, clubs around the Football League will surely desire his signature on a free transfer, should a deal at Everton fail to materialise. So whether he convinces his parent club to offer new terms or attracts admiration from those a bit further down the pyramid, it’s crucial Garbutt can maintain this level of form for the rest of what is already looking like a decisive loan stint in League One.

وأضاف: “يأتي رونالدو من بعدهما، الذي يواصل إظهار قدرته في قيادة هجوم يوفنتوس”.

وعن مستوى ميلان في الموسم الحالي: “متذبذب، لكنهم أثبتوا قدرتهم على المنافسة بالقمة، ولذلك فعودتهم تزيد من متعة البطولة”.

أكد إسلام عيسى لاعب بيراميدز ومنتخب مصر، أن الانضمام لصفوف الفراعنة خلال المعسكر الأخير، يعد شرف كبير، مشيرًا إلى أن المشاركة في المباريات تعود إلى حسام البدري المدير الفني.

منتخب مصر كان قد دخل معسكر خلال شهر مارس الحالي، لخوض مباراتي كينيا وجزر القمر، ضمن منافسات الجولتين الخامسة والسادسة في التصفيات الإفريقية المؤهلة لكأس الأمم بالكاميرون.

واستطاع منتخب مصر التأهل إلي كأس أمم إفريقيا، متصدرًا المجموعة السابعة برصيد 12 نقطة.

وقال عيسي خلال تصريحات لبرنامج “جمهور التالتة” عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورتس”: “خبر انضمامي للمنتخب وصل لي قبل إعلان البدري للقائمة، والفرحة كانت كبيرة بثقة المدير الفني بي”.

وتابع: “بذلت مجهودًا كبيرًا لكي أكون أحد المنضمين، والحمد لله على فوز اليوم والتأهل من قبل”.

وأضاف: “أن أكون في منتخب مصر ضمن الأسماء المتواجدة هذا شرف كبير، والمشاركة من عدمها تعود لـ البدري على حسب احتياجاته، ومشاركتي ستأتي في وقتها”.

وأردف: “البدري قال لنا قبل المباراة إننا يجب أن نفوز مع تقديم أداء جيد، وكل اللاعبين تعاهدوا على أن يخرجوا من المباراة بأداء ونتيجة جيدة تسعد المصريين ولكي تعطينا ثقة في تصفيات كأس العالم”.

Charlton Athletic had to take a share of the spoils at Craven Cottage as Fulham twice hit back after going behind in a four-goal thriller.

The visitors opened the scoring just before half-time when Conor Gallagher squeezed a strike underneath Marcus Bettinelli in the Cottagers’ net before the lively Ivan Cavaleiro hit back with a superb solo effort ten minutes into the second half.

Macauley Bonne then managed to double his tally for the club just 90 seconds later, as his header looped over the Fulham shot-stopper.

But their lead was short-lived with Aleksander Mitrovic, the Championship’s top goalscorer, finally getting a goal himself having hit the crossbar earlier in the match.

The 25-year-old poked home from close range to score his eighth of the season.

The Addicks had their backs against the wall in the final 25 minutes with Fulham launching an onslaught in the hope of finding a winner – Scott Parker’s side recorded 80.9% possession and eight shots, per WhoScored.

One minute after Fulham’s equaliser, Lee Bowyer looked to West Brom loanee Jonathan Leko, but the young forward failed to show why he should be trusted with a starting berth more often.

Per SofaScore, the 20-year-old failed to win any of his ten duels, nine of which were on the ground, which suggests he struggled to match his opposite number and thus invited the aforementioned pressure back onto his side.

He also lost possession four times, having only been on the pitch for a total of 26 minutes, adding to the argument that his presence practically aided Fulham’s barrage of attacks in the final quarter of the game.

Leko has been primarily a winger for West Brom when given an opportunity, playing 63 times on the right according to Transfermarkt’s recorded matches, but for Bowyer, he’s been utilised as a striker.

The youngster has scored two and assisted two so far this season, but this latest performance won’t have done his starting claims any favours, especially after Bonne scored in the lone striker’s role.

WhoScored actually rate Leko’s best position for Charlton out wide as he averages 7.21, which is higher than 6.57 as a striker, so maybe that’s something the Addicks boss should consider going forward.

Though, he won’t be inspired by that dire cameo display.

The Daily Mail’s Chief Sports Writer, Oliver Holt, has called for Manchester United to sack Ed Woodward, and it is a feeling some fans agree with.

Woodward has been chief executive at the club since 2013 and the perspective on him is divided between supporters and the club, with his commercial success seeming to override the failings on the pitch for the board.

He has been the subject of frequent criticism from some sections of the United support, primarily for his lack of success in the transfer market, as well as the turnover of managers since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

Many are buoyed by the fact a big journalistic name in Holt has decided to call him out over his poor handling of affairs, which currently leaves the Red Devils in 12th place in the league – they are just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Holt points to Woodward’s habit of signing and sticking by big-name players despite underperforming, whilst also claiming a lack of “playing philosophy” at the club underpins their failure, suggesting that any manager who comes in is unlikely to change the club’s fortunes.
