أفادت تقارير صحفية إنجليزية، أن الدولي السويسري شيردان شاكيري، يرغب في الرحيل عن ليفربول، خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المقبلة.

شاكيري لا يشارك بصفة أساسية مع ليفربول، ومعظم المباريات التي يظهر فيها يكون بديلًا.

موقع “Footballinsider” الإنجليزي، أكد أن شاكيري أمر وكيله بالعثور على نادٍ جديد له مع اقتراب نهاية الموسم مع ليفربول.

وأشار الموقع البريطاني، إلى أن شاكيري حريص على المشاركة بشكل أساسي، ويريد اللعب بانتظام، في ظل اهتمام كبير من ناديي روما ولاتسيو الإيطاليين، بالإضافة إلى إشبيلية الإسباني.

العودة إلى الدوري الألماني ليست محتملة للاعب بايرن ميونخ الأسبق، بينما ليفربول حدد 32 مليون جنية إسترليني لـ شاكيري من قبل، لكن الآن الأمر سيكون مختلفًا بسبب وباء فيروس كورونا والأزمة الاقتصادية.

لاعب الوسط السويسري صاحب الـ29 عامًا، شارك هذا الموسم في 21 مباراة هذا الموسم بمختلف المسابقات، 6 منهم فقط أساسيًا.

شاكيري انضم إلى ليفربول في صيف 2018، مقابل 13 مليون جنية إسترليني في عقده مع ستوك سيتي بعد هبوط الفريق.

A number of Aston Villa fans took to social media on Wednesday to lavish praise on their club’s former manager Ron Saunders.

The former striker was in charge of Villa between 1974 and 1982, winning the First Division and two Football League Cups during his time at the helm.

It was Saunders’ 87th birthday on Wednesday, and it was not a surprise that Villa posted a special message due to his standing at Villa Park.

The tweet, as expected, led to a number of the club’s supporters lavishing praise on him.

Saunders remains the only manager to have taken charge of Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion, which is some going.

And it difficult to see that happening again, at least for some time.

The Villa fans still have a very high opinion of their former head coach, though, with many taking to social media to hail him.

واختتم: “لكن الفترة الماضية نحن مستقرون والجهاز الفني يعمل بشكل جيد ويظهر بشكل مميز، البطولة إعداد لكأس أمم إفريقيا وكأس العالم في قطر”.

Everything appears to be running smoothly at West Bromwich Albion this season.

They sit top of the Championship table, having lost just one game all season as Slaven Bilic looks to be the man to guide them back to the promised land of the Premier League.

At their current rate, it is more than plausible as they would reach 92 points, which has been enough for automatic promotion in four of the last five seasons.

The Baggies have also done so relatively unscathed as a core group of five players have started every single match this campaign while an entire starting XI worth have featured in ten or more games, per WhoScored.

That could be about to change in the near future as both Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore are just one booking away from earning a suspension.

Their accumulation of yellow cards will be wiped when they face Swansea City at the start of December, but there are four games between then, so it is quite likely that at least one will pick up that fifth booking of the season.

Both midfielders have been an integral part of Bilic’s system this campaign as they are two of the five to start every single match.

The duo are effectively Albion’s engine room at the heart of the pitch – Sawyers averages the most passes per game of any midfielder in the division while Livermore isn’t too far behind with an 84% passing success rate.

Looking at Bilic’s bench in their last fixture, there was only one central midfield option in Filip Krovinovic, and even then, he’s more of a number ten than a number eight.

This means that the Baggies’ new arrival Gareth Barry may be called upon sooner than expected as he re-signed for the club this week on a deal until the end of the season.

His boss expects him to feature in a few U23 games in the next few weeks to get him up to match fitness, but should a suspension creep in before then, he could well be fast-tracked into the starting line up.

Last season, Barry started 22 matches in the second flight, averaging 1.4 tackles, 1.3 clearances, and 37.1 passes per game, via WhoScored, so he would be a reliable option on the defensive side of things if he can get up to speed quickly.

وعندما سُئل عن إمكانية إقالته، قال أرتيتا في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ديلي ميل” الإنجليزية: “حسنًا، لا أريد أن أفكر بهذه الطريقة، أريد أن أعتقد أننا سنكون في نهائي الدوري الأوروبي، وبعد ذلك سيكون لدينا نتائج إيجابية حقًا”.

وأضاف: “سوء نتائجنا؟ هذا لأسباب عديدة مختلفة، أحدها لم تتح لنا الفرصة للحصول على تشكيلة متسقة للغاية، التناسق في النتائج في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز مختلف تمامًا عن الدوري الأوروبي، حيث كنا متسقين للغاية”.

وواصل: “الآخر هو مقدار الأخطاء التي قمنا بها في اللحظات الحاسمة، والآخر هو الافتقار إلى الفعالية في الثلث الأخير خاصة لقتل المباراة، سبب آخر هو أن الخصم كان في بعض الأحيان أفضل”.

وتابع: “نحاول أن نكون واضحين قدر الإمكان طوال الوقت، لكن في بعض الأحيان يدرك الخصوم ذلك منذ البداية، هناك بعض المباريات حيث بدأنا بشكل جيد ولم ننهيها جيدًا، لا أعتقد أنه كان هناك نمط خلال الموسم”.

Wolverhampton Wanderers crept up the Premier League table as they continue to go under the radar this season.

Nuno Santo’s side now sit in eighth, having defeated local rivals Aston Villa 2-1 at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.

Another player that continues to thrive under the Portuguese boss is Adama Traore, and it’s about time his exploits are highlighted as he’s quickly becoming one of Wolves’ most valuable players, even amongst the likes of Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho.

Although those in the west Midlands will probably want his and their own season to continue to go unnoticed.

There’s no hiding that Traore has long been a figure that divides opinion for Wolves – he has often been blasted by fans as such against Southampton last season, but he has also been praised at times, as seen after his brace against Manchester City this campaign.

The crux of his doubts have always come down to his perceived lack of end product. Danny Higginbotham’s pointed it out. Traore himself has even mentioned it.

But it is about time that gets banished once and for all, especially after his role in their win on Sunday afternoon.

Per SofaScore, the 23-year-old registered ten successful dribbles, recorded one key pass and managed one tackle. He even won a monumental 15 of his 20 duels, both on the ground and aerially.

No player in the Premier League has completed more take-ons in one match than the Spaniard this season.

Traore also provided the assist for what would be the winner when he cut inside, beating Douglas Luiz, to fizz a ball into the path of the Mexican striker, who duly dispatched in the 84th minute.

It is now five assists and two goals in 20 appearances, which is good enough for most, let alone for someone who is meant to have ‘no end product.’

Although Tim Sherwood’s time at Aston Villa did not quite work out as the 50-year-old might have wished, the former Villa boss has been revealing his thoughts on Jack Grealish and the England set-up.

What did he say?

Speaking to Alan Brazil on talkSPORT, Sherwood said:

“For me, England have missed the boat with Jack Grealish. I think he should have been in the squad over the last few games and with only two friendlies in March, I think it might be a bit late for Jack.

“This kid is something different, the ball is his friend – 100 per cent they missed the boat on him.

“I love Mason Mount, he’s got goals and runs without the ball and gets himself in the area, and I like James Maddison, he’s got great awareness, can see a pass and has started adding goals to his game.

“But Jack takes the ball to the opposition, he goes right to the heart of people, he dribbles it like Paul Gascoigne, although he’s got a long way to go before he’s anywhere near Paul Gascoigne.

Is there still room for Grealish in Southgate’s squad?

Having started the 2019/20 campaign in impressive form, calls for Aston Villa’s captain Grealish to be included in the England squad have been growing in momentum.

The midfielder has scored two goals and registered three assists in 10 league appearances for the newly-promoted side, but Southgate has continued to omit the playmaker from the Three Lions’ squad, despite admitting he has been on the cusp of selection.

As Sherwood alludes to, England have a number of promising attacking midfield talents in their ranks including the likes of Mason Mount and James Maddison, but the form Grealish is exhibiting would have more than justified a call-up, yet the 24-year-old has been unable to gain the full trust of the England boss.

With Euro 2020 on the horizon and Grealish yet to be selected in a squad by Southgate, it would appear that the Villa man is currently unlikely to be featuring in the finals next summer, and the Three Lions could well rue not selecting such a talented playmaker who is currently in excellent form. 

Having also called upon Ross Barkley recently and taken Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the World Cup last summer, Southgate was always going to face tough decisions over who England’s No.10 should be. However, he might just have made the wrong call.

تابع: “منذ أمس هناك شائعات مغرضة لم تحدث بأنه حدثت مشكلة مع اللاعبين، وهذا كلام عاري تمامًا من الصحة”.

استكمل: “تحدثنا مع اللاعبين وستكون هناك مكافآت تحفيزية في حالة الفوز على الأهلي ثاني يوم المباراة مباشرة، لعدة اعتبارات، أولًا هي مباراة مهمة وفاصلة في الدوري، وثانيًا لإسعاد الجماهير”.

أردف: “أبلغنا اللاعبين أن المستحقات المالية سيتم صرفها قريبًا، وهم تفهموا الموقف جيدًا”.

أوضح: “اللاعبون لديهم حماس زائد في هذه المباراة، ولديهم رغبة شديدة بتحقيق المكسب على الأهلي”.

أكمل: “حالة الصمت الموجودة في الفريق لكي تكون هناك سرية وطمأنينة، نحن لبينا رغبة الجهاز الفني بالزمالك بأن يكون هناك معسكر لمدة يومين، لكي نوفر لهم كل سبل الراحة”.
